Hummingbird Hospice covers all medications related to the terminal diagnosis, along with medical equipment needed provide the highest level of care. Our registered nurses and medical directors coordinate orders for necessary pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, and medical supplies. We also will coordinate with your insurance company to make sure you have the access to what you need. Each week, Hummingbird Hospice delivers supplemental supplies to assist with daily hygiene.

We ease the burden of coordinating delivery of medications and setting up hospital beds, wheelchairs, walkers, oxygen, shower chairs, and other equipment and supplies. Our care plan is designed to all you to live comfortably in your own home or nursing facility, without the unnecessary stress of managing these details.
Most patient's insurance such as Medicare, Medicaid, or private insurance hospice benefit may cover 100% of medications, supplies, equipment, and medical services if they are authorized by the physician and are related to the patient's terminal diagnosis. Items or services recommended which are not related to the patient's terminal illness may be obtained by the patient, but will not be covered financially by the hospice.
Wings of Hope assists in providing assistance to those requiring additional services, equipment, or supplies which are not covered by traditional insurance or hospice. Together, we work to ensure each patient has their needs met, regardless of their financial limitations.
